On Sunday, we baptized Wendell. Wendell is fairly new to the church, and he’s a great guy, with a beautiful family. God has done a lot for him! Check this clip out to hear his story:

I love this video. Christin Hope Smith and Mike Henderson did a great job putting this together. I mean toGATHER. What’s this about? Well, we’re having a special service and throwing a party for all those who’ve strayed either from God or His Church. Nov. 29, we’re meeting at 11am at OCC for an encouraging word [...] This past weekend, we participated in Doors Open Oshawa. Doors Open is a province-wide architectural/historical festival, and this was our first time joining in. We had 130 guests, mostly from Durham Region, who came to learn the history of our 1899 building. This also gave us an opportunity to showcase some of the great things [...] This past weekend, OCC hosted our Reignite the Fire Marriage Conference, with guests Bill & Pam Farrel. It was an incredible weekend, and we sent an anonymous survey out to gather feedback to help us plan the next one. Here are the highlights, followed by a few testimonies. This is always a beautiful time. It’s only an hour long, so you’ll still have lots of time with your family afterwards. We light candles and sing Christmas carols together, and hear a few words. Kids love it, too! Just [...] |
